A Discussion with Brian Housh: Rails-to-Trails Conservancy Midwest Regional Office
Join us this month to talk trails with Brian Housh, RTC’s Midwest policy manager and Village Council President. Living, working and playing in Yellow Springs—a Bicycle-Friendly Community and Buckeye Trail Town—promote Brian’s active-transportation lifestyle and engagement in local, regional and state initiatives to support community trails.

During our conversation, Brian will share stories of his collaborations with elected officials and grassroots coalitions to develop and maintain the trail and active transportation infrastructure critical in addressing the current COVID-19, climate and racism crises.

Additionally, with the presence of Legislative Trail Caucuses—bipartisan groups of state legislators committed to advancing walking, biking and trails—in Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin and new groups forming across the nation, Brian will also discuss the exciting opportunities available to secure better investments and policies to expand active transportation networks.

For Brian, a JD/MBA (environmental law/finance & entrepreneurship) and a decade of owning and managing a corporate communications consultancy in Thailand have instilled a collaborative community development perspective that prioritizes diversity in decision-making processes and complements RTC’s federal policy work. Brian thrives on his interactions with trail advocates and is looking forward to connecting with you.
