Harnessing the Power of Trail Networks: TrailNation™ Collaborative Kick-Off
RTC is thrilled to announce the TrailNation Collaborative— a learning community where advocates, public leaders and professionals can come together to share their experiences, their challenges and their strategies for accelerating the pace of connecting trails and active transportation infrastructure.

That’s why we hope you’ll join us to kick off the collaborative! This interactive event will inspire us to think deeply about what it takes to breathe life into trail networks leading with equity and inclusion and unlock their potential for people and places. We’ll tackle three conversations featuring influential and inspirational leaders to explore the impact of trail networks, the role they serve in building community and the urgent moment before us to capture new funding that advances and creates trail networks across the country.

The two-hour kick-off event will include 3 discussions featuring inspirational leaders from across the public and nonprofit sectors and encourage dialogue among all of the participants. We’ll also introduce everyone to the collaborative, with tips on how to engage, influence the conversation, participate in events and access the resources you need to accelerate trail networks in your community!

Panels:
- What Happens When Trails Are Connected? Featuring Secretary Toks Omishakin (CalSTA), Jon Snyder (Senior Policy Advisor to Gov. Jay Inslee on Outdoor Recreation & Economic Development), and Representative Carey Hamilton (Indiana State House, District 87)
